Overview

Siyu Liu received the B.S. degree in Maritime Administration from Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2020. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at the School of Ocean and Civil Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. Since May 2024, she has been an exchange Ph.D. student in the Maritime Technology Division at Ghent University, Belgium. Her research interests include black-box modeling of ship maneuvering motion, automatic control of ship motion, collision avoidance, and related areas.
